Having been a table tennis player for more than a decade, Wei spent so much time bending down to hit the ball that her posture changed. However, she has managed to correct her posture in only three months. After her daytime training, Wei asked other soldiers to tie a steel frame to her back and a rope around her legs. She said that one time her legs were tied together for over three hours and she could barely move after untying them. "While standing there, we would imagine that it is the day of the military parade and it would be the least tiring moment. We imagine that we are standing on Chang'an Avenue and how many spectators are watching us," Wei said. Director: Super Spy -Stephen Chow Sing-Chi, Lee Lik-Chee A tonnage of verbal comedy can't offset the fact that this Stephen Chow film works on both physical and emotional levels. Slow to start and rough around the edges, the film still rounds into one of Chow's most satisfying yet. Stephen Chow stars in (and co-directs) this wacky spy flick that's more Casino Royale than From Russia with Love. Chow plays dumb but cool as pork vendor/secret agent Ling Ling Chat (007), a forgotten Mainland agent called into action when some dinosaur bones go missing. Ubiquitous Anita Yuen shows up as his Hong Kong partner, who also happens to be double-agent working for the opposition. She's assigned to kill him, but slowly starts to melt before his strange, non-sensical charms. Meanwhile, any semblance of an actual plot is destoyed beneath various timeouts for physical and verbal gags. And there's laughter. The pairing of Chow plus Yuen yields surprising laughs, though their chemistry is nonexistent to begin with. The film starts deceptively slow, and appears to go nowhere through the first half-hour. However, when things pick up, they pick up incredibly well. Chow's superspy is more fool than fantastic, but he manages to create a thoroughly loveably spy savant who packs more toughness than even the viewer can imagine. As the assassin in paw-print pajamas, Anita Yuen seems miscast, but her comedic charms prove an excellent foil to Chow's inanity. What makes the film a bit tough for casual viewers are the numerous verbal puns that litter the film. Unlike some of Chow's earlier films, the jokes aren't dismissed with yet another quickly-inserted mo lei tau moment. Sometimes the jokes include long pauses for appropriate laughter - which can prove frustrating for those who have no idea what's supposed to be so funny. Also, the film seems incredibly cheap even by Hong Kong standards. However, that doesn't take away from the obvious visual humor of the film, which takes its cues from Chow's anime-flavored performance style. Bond films are obviously parodied, but references to C'est La Vie, Mon Cheri and Days of Being Wild pop up, too. Many of the visual gags are just more nonsense thrown on top of the pile. In that, they're not unlike Chow's verbal mo lei tau. Where the film really departs from previous Chow films is in character. Stephen Chow's characters have typically two varieties: the pathetically loveable loser who overcomes all odds, or the sarcastic and self-assured misfit who inevitably triumphs over those around him. Unlike those other characters, Ling Ling Chat isn't inherently engaging. It's only through Chow's even performance and some cool narrative trickery that we come to really like and care for Chat. From Beijing with Love works best when it sticks to the physical humor and situation comedy instead of the esoteric verbal gags. At first glance it's not a drop-dead funny movie, and by now it's not even Chow's best film (God of Cookery wins that award). However, it's hard to find a Stephen Chow film that grows on the viewer as much as this one. Awards: 14th Annual Hong Kong Film Awards • Nomination - Best Actor (Stephen Chow Sing-Chi) • Nomination - Best Supporting Actor (Law Kar-Ying)

Yes, the victim did cry for help, yet nobody took heed to the helpless cry. The chilling experience was shared by the victim whose account name on weibo is Wanwan (@弯弯_2016) . Her unnerving story soon triggered a nationwide rage online at the night of April 5. On April 3, 2016, Wanwan was travelling in Beijing and stayed alone in a Yitel, an economy hotel chain under Homeinns Co., Ltd. She booked the hotel on Ctrip’s website, a widely-used booking site in China. Upon returning to her room, Wanwan stepped out of the hotel elevator and searched for her room card from her bag. What she did not notice was that a chilling attempt of abduction is about to unfold. Together with Wanwan in the elevator was a man; he followed her out of the elevator. Then, the man asked Wanwan, “What is your room number?” The question immediately alarmed Wanwan. “Why should I tell you? Who are you anyway?” she said. Then, the nightmare began. The man started to force Wanwan to go with him and attempted to drag her along. Wanwan started to scream, and that was when the man strangled her in her neck. “Help!” Wanwan cried out desperately. A janitor heard the noise and came over. “I don’t know him! Help me!” Wanwan implored desperately and tearfully. The janitor, who must have believed they were just another couple arguing, casually asked them in a low voice to stop the fight. However, he did not lend a hand. Footage showed that the staff was present during the whole incident, neither too close nor too far away, but he did not intervene. Wanwan sat on the floor to prevent the man from dragging her along. She managed to dial emergency number 110 for police. Surveillance video showed that the man also made a phone call for help. Wanwan did try to make an escape by dashing into the elevator, only to be forcefully pulled back by the man who strangled her further. It was at this moment when a female hotel guest approached. When the man again tried to hurl Wanwan into a dark corridor, the woman grabbed Wanwan’s hand and pulled her back up. Seeing his scheme failed, the man ran from the scene. After the incident had long passed, the manager of the hotel appeared. Yet he is not as late as the police, who checked the surveillance camera and noted down Wanwan and other witnesses’ alibi. Horrified and nearly collapsed, Wanwan stayed at her friend’s for a night, but her nightmare continued. The investigation stalled as the local police station said the “investigator is away and will not be back until Thursday”. What’s worse is that the dispatchers of 110 police hotline said, “This is not within our responsibility”. The hotel held the stance that now that Wanwan had called the police, we should just wait to see what would come out of it. Wanwan has also contacted ctrip.com where she booked the hotel to question their verification of collaborating hotels, ctrip responded that the case had been reported and then no more. When Wanwan’s post started to trend on weibo, Yitel the hotel contacted Wanwan, in an attempt to bribe her for deleting the post. Wanwan refused. The post soon swept across this social media platform, causing outrageous and shocking horror nationwide. “Who would expect a hotel in China’s capital be as dangerous as this?” One netizen commented. “If the hotel staff and police would not be there for us as in Wanwan’s experience, who can guarantee our safety?” Another criticized. So far, Wanan’s story has been reposted for over 450,000 times, and the widespread rage eventually got the relevant parties to respond. Both Yitel and Ctrip made announcements that they see case with a serious attitude and it will be thoroughly investigated. Local police station said the case is in progress. Their primitive investigation said that the attacked woman has suffered neither property damage nor personal injury, and the attacker “seemed drunk”. The case is still ongoing.

http://cp.bon.tv/source/index.php Bearings, wheels, screws, boards, abrasive paper, these things are all simple, rustic materials. It's hard to imagine they could play a role in art or beauty, but at Beijing's biggest skate park Woodward, those elements combine as a tool of self-expression. The skateboard is much more than a piece of sports equipment for many people, it is a statement of who they are.

It was so cold this morning! Going to one of Beijing's parks was high on my lists of things I wanted to see. I couldn't imagine that people would come outside on such a cold day, but, was I wrong! Our guide said his mother meets her friends here almost every day for several hours.
